    Services Provided (in clinic or from your home):

    • Examinations, general cleanings, scaling, polishing, fluoride treatments, etc.
    • Co-coordinates care with your dentist if a concern is identified

    Fees:

    • Align with the Ontario Dental Association fee guide
    • Accepts all insurances (government and private) and direct bills on your behalf

    Registration is now closed for the Frontenac Doctors Flu and Covid Shot clinic at the Wolfe Island Community Medical Clinic

    WHEN: October 28, 2024, starting at 3:30 PM – 6:45 PM

    WHERE: Wolfe Island Medical Clinic

    Please be advised that you may experience slower turnaround times during the October 28th vaccination clinic due to recent Ontario government administrative changes. 

    Thanks in advance for your patience.

    • Please arrive prepared wearing SHORT SLEEVE shirts for easier administration of vaccination.
    • Please bring your OHIP cards ready to provide at registration.
    • We ask that patients remain in their cars during the flu shot clinic, and that children remain buckled in their car seats.

    Frontenac Doctors Patients

    If you are over the age of 65, and opt to get your flu shot elsewhere, please let Frontenac Doctors office know.  The office reports to the MOH the percentage of patients age 65+ who get their flu shot each year.

    Volunteer responders training project

    Volunteer responders training project

    Frontenac Neighbours Saving Neighbours is seeking volunteer responders from across Frontenac to participate in a pilot program and research study about the best ways to increase survival rates for victims of out-of-hospital cardiac arrest.

    As a volunteer, you’ll be assigned to a team of other volunteers based on geographic location. You’ll be trained in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the safe and proper use of an automatic external defibrillator (AED).

    • no experience required
    • free training provided
    • volunteer responders are equipped with AED
    • your work will contribute to scientific research
    • begin resuscitation in the precious minutes before paramedics arrive
    • you could save a neighbour’s life

    Requirements:

    • 21 years of age or older
    • Have a smartphone with data plan
    • Have access to a vehicle
    • Live or work in the Townships of South Frontenac, Central Frontenac, North Frontenac, or on Wolfe Island
    • Have the physical ability to perform moderately vigorous physical activity continuously for at least two minutes; be able to perform good quality CPR for at least two minutes
    • Be able to carry an 8kg (18lb) AED kit while responding
    • Be available for required in-person training session
