    Due to changes in the Ministry of Health regulations,  we are no longer able to offer drive thru Flu / COVID vaccination clinics on Wolfe Island.

    You can receive the latest annual COVID-19 vaccine and flu shot from your Doctor

    OR

    at participating pharmacies.

    Please visit the Ontario Ministry of Health website to find the closest pharmacy that offers the vaccinations.

    Community Health Update

    Community Health Update

    The Board of Directors is pleased to inform residents that we have taken an important step toward addressing the ongoing need for improved family medical care on Wolfe Island.

    In collaboration with the Township of Frontenac Islands, Frontenac County, and our Member of Provincial Parliament (MPP) Ted Hsu, the Board has initiated a joint effort to secure sustainable, accessible family medical services for our community.

    This initiative reflects our shared commitment to ensuring that all residents of Wolfe Island have access to the essential primary care they need, close to home.

    MPP Ted Hsu has provided his support and has addressed the issue of our Rurality Index for Ontario (RIO) and the need for it to be readdressed.

    The popular Wolfe Island Classic 5K/10K Run will take place on July 6th, 2025. This race raises money for programs and services for our community in support of the  Wolfe Island Community Medical Clinic.

    Wolfe Island Community Medical Clinic is pleased to welcome two new service providers to the Clinic.

    Rosa Hession – Foot Care Nurse

    Registered Practical Nurse with specialization in foot care

    17 years of experience

    Foot care for all ages including children with different abilities

    Fee – $35.00 per foot treatment

    Payment by cash or e-transfer with receipts provided

    Ashleigh Peck – Registered Dental Hygienist

    10+ years of experience

    Services Provided (in clinic or from your home):

    • Examinations, general cleanings, scaling, polishing, fluoride treatments, etc.
    • Co-coordinates care with your dentist if a concern is identified

    Fees:

    • Align with the Ontario Dental Association fee guide
    • Accepts all insurances (government and private) and direct bills on your behalf
