Frequently asked questions from our community

How do I contact the Medical Clinic?

The Wolfe Island Community Medical Clinic is not staffed and there is no direct phone number.

  • If you would like to set up an appointment for foot care with VON call 613-634-0130 x2303  or via email
  • If you have a question for Life Labs,  please check their website
  • You can contact the volunteer Board of Directors for the clinic by email.  Emails are answered by the Board President or Vice President, who will respond as soon as possible.

Can I get my blood test requisition sent to the clinic or get blood drawn without a requisition?

No. Blood work and lab testing are done by Life Labs who graciously provide service on the island twice a month. They do not have a computer system on the island so please bring a copy of your requisition with you.

How do I get involved with the Medical Clinic?

We are always looking for extra hands either as a volunteer or as a member of the board. Let us know if you are interested by emailing the  Board of Directors .

New Board Members are voted in during the AGM in May but there are opportunities to volunteer throughout the year doing odd jobs around the clinic or other events.

When will the next Flu Shot clinic be?

Flu shot clinics were provided by Frontenac Doctors. We are working to address the issue following the recent announcement that on-Island visits by Frontenac Doctors Medical staff will cease on August 31, 2023.

Please follow us on Facebook or check back here for updates.
